A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel does not so much sit beside you as fold itself onto your lap and stay there. They are gentle, soft-eyed and quietly determined to be wherever you are. If you share your home with one, you already know the hair ends up everywhere and the welcome at the door is worth it. Wood Chimps makes personalised Cavalier gifts in the UK, cut and engraved to order with your dog's name, from clocks to lead holders and signs.
About the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
The Cavalier is a small spaniel, usually somewhere around the size of a large cat, with a silky coat that comes in Blenheim, tricolour, ruby and black and tan. Those long feathered ears pick up every leaf and crumb going. In character they are sweet-natured, eager to please and famously fond of people, strangers included, which makes them hopeless guard dogs and brilliant companions. Most owners shorten the name to Cavalier or just Cav, and the standing joke is that they are not a dog so much as a lap with a heartbeat. They enjoy a walk but will happily swap it for a cushion and an afternoon of company. Many are very food motivated and will look at you as though they have never been fed.
Personalised gifts for your Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Start with the Personalised Dog Clock, laser cut at 200 by 220mm with a Cavalier silhouette and your dog's name, a good fit for a kitchen or hallway wall. The Personalised Dog Lead Holder is a 12 by 21cm light grey board with two black hooks for lead and poo bags, engraved with the name and a fill-in walkies time clock, available in your breed, just tell us. The wooden block keyring is etched with the breed and name and slips onto your keys. The Dog Rules for Visitors sign and the Best Seat in the House sign both carry the Cavalier breed and name. When the time comes, we also make a gentle hanging memorial plaque and an LED memorial lantern.

Questions
How do I add my dog's name?
Pick the product, then enter your dog's name and breed when you check out. We engrave or cut the piece in our UK workshop using exactly what you type, so check the spelling before you confirm. The personalisation is free.
Which Wood Chimps products come with a Cavalier on them?
The wall clock, lead holder, block keyring, Dog Rules for Visitors sign and Best Seat in the House sign all come with a Cavalier silhouette and your dog's name. The memorial plaque and lantern are personalised with the name and paw prints instead.
Can you show my Cavalier's colour, like Blenheim or tricolour?
The silhouette shows the Cavalier outline rather than coat colour, so a Blenheim and a tricolour get the same shape. Your dog's name is engraved as you give it. If you have a particular request, tell us at checkout and we will match it where we can.
