About the Cavapoo
The Cavapoo is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, usually a miniature or toy, so size varies from around 5 to 11kg depending on the parents. The coat is the main event: soft, wavy or curly, in apricot, red, cream, chocolate, black or a mix, and it needs regular brushing and grooming or it mats into felt. Owners joke that the dog comes back from the groomer looking like a different animal. Cavapoos are people dogs who do not like being left, and they tend to be good with children and other pets. Often shortened to 'Cav' or called a teddy bear dog, they are easy going, eager to please and very easy to spoil.
