Personalised Cocker Spaniel Gifts

A Cocker Spaniel's tail never stops, and neither does the nose. Owners learn to accept wet ears in the water bowl, feathers full of mud and a dog that is thrilled to see you whether you have been gone five minutes or five days. Wood Chimps makes personalised Cocker Spaniel gifts in our UK workshop. Clocks, lead holders, keyrings and signs, all laser cut or engraved with your dog's name, so the gift belongs to one Cocker rather than the breed in general.

About the Cocker Spaniel

Cocker Spaniels are medium sized, roughly 13 to 15 kilos, with a silky coat that comes in solid golden, black, liver and a whole range of roans and parti colours. The long ears and feathered legs are the giveaway, and they collect mud like it is their job. The show type is calmer and heavier in the ear, while the working type is leaner and seemingly powered by a small reactor. Both are gentle and deeply attached to their people. Owners joke about the merry Cocker, a dog that wags its entire back end, and about the ears that need tucking back at mealtimes. Most call them Cockers, and the working ones often earn a nickname involving rockets or missiles.

Personalised gifts for your Cocker Spaniel

A Cocker Spaniel owner will get use out of the lead holder first. It is a light grey painted board, 12 by 21cm, engraved with your dog's name and a walkies time clock you fill in, with two black hooks underneath for the lead and the poo bags. It is available in your breed, just tell us. The Dog Clock is laser cut at 200 by 220mm with a Cocker silhouette, ears included, and the name below. The 58 by 32mm block keyring is etched with the breed and the name for £2.50. The Dog Rules for Visitors sign and the Best Seat in the House sign both show the name and breed. The memorial plaque and lantern are there for a Cocker who has gone.

Questions

How do I get my Cocker's name on the gift?

Type the dog's name and the breed into the personalisation box at checkout. We take it from there in the workshop, cutting or engraving exactly what you wrote. It costs nothing extra to personalise.

What do you make for Cocker Spaniels?

You can have the Dog Clock, the lead holder, the block keyring, the Dog Rules for Visitors sign and the Best Seat in the House sign made with a Cocker Spaniel silhouette and your dog's name. We also make the memorial plaque and lantern.

Do you do working and show Cocker Spaniels?

The silhouette is a Cocker Spaniel outline rather than a separate working or show version. Your dog's name is what makes it personal. If you want us to match something in particular, tell us at checkout and we will do what we can.
