About the Labradoodle
The Labradoodle is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, so you get a medium to large dog with the Labrador's friendliness and a good dose of Poodle brains. Coats vary a fair bit, from loose waves to tight curls, and most owners will tell you the grooming bill is the real surprise. They are affectionate, quick to learn and happiest when they have company and a job to do, even if that job is carrying a sock around the garden. Owners often call them doodles or simply the doodle, and the joke in most doodle households is that the dog has better hair than anyone else in the family. They tend to greet everyone as an old friend.
