About the Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are medium sized but built like a brick, usually 11 to 17 kilos of muscle on short legs, with a smooth coat in brindle, red, fawn, black, blue or white, often with a white chest. The broad head and the smile define them. Staffies are affectionate to the point of being soppy, famously good with children, and happiest wedged against a person on the sofa. They were bred in the Black Country and remain one of the most popular breeds in Britain. Owners joke about the Staffy lean, the full body weight pressed against your legs, and the nanny dog reputation that follows the breed.
