About the Whippet
The Whippet is a medium-sized sighthound, lighter and smaller than a Greyhound, with a short fine coat that comes in almost any colour and a deep chest built for sprinting. They have very little body fat, which is why they shiver at the first sign of autumn and collect jumpers like other dogs collect tennis balls. Indoors they are calm, gentle and rarely bark, and most will burrow under a duvet given half a chance. Outdoors they can hit speeds that make the lead feel like a formality. Owners sometimes call them whippy or the whip, and the common joke is that they are a Greyhound that shrank in the wash. They are sensitive dogs who respond to a soft voice.

You tell us your dog's name and breed at checkout and we laser engrave or cut it in our UK workshop. We use the name exactly as you type it, so a quick check of the spelling before you order saves bother later. Personalisation costs nothing extra.

My dog is a Whippet cross. Will the silhouette still look right?
