Nobody has ever told a Yorkshire Terrier that it is small, and it would not believe them anyway. A Yorkie will take on the postman, the hoover and the big dog over the road, then expect to be carried home. They are bold, bright and very attached to their people. Wood Chimps makes personalised Yorkie gifts in our UK workshop, laser cut and engraved to order with your dog's name, from wall clocks and lead holders to keyrings and signs.
About the Yorkshire Terrier
The Yorkshire Terrier is one of the smallest dog breeds, typically weighing under 3.2kg, with a long, fine, straight coat in steel blue and tan that feels more like human hair than fur. Many owners keep it clipped short for practical reasons, while others go the full show-coat route with a topknot and bow. Character-wise they are proper terriers: feisty, curious, noisy when they feel like it and fiercely loyal to their family. Almost everyone calls them Yorkies. The standing joke among owners is that you have bought a Rottweiler in a handbag. They were originally bred in Yorkshire mills to catch rats, which explains the attitude. They like to be warm, high up and in the middle of things.
Personalised gifts for your Yorkshire Terrier
The Personalised Dog Clock is laser cut at 200 by 220mm and shows a Yorkie silhouette with your dog's name. The Personalised Dog Lead Holder is a 12 by 21cm light grey board with two black hooks for the lead and poo bags, engraved with the name and a fill-in walkies time clock, available in your breed, just tell us. The wooden block keyring, at 58 by 32mm, is etched with the breed and name. The Dog Rules for Visitors sign and the Best Seat in the House sign both carry the Yorkie and the name, and that second one belongs on the sofa arm. We also make a hanging memorial plaque and an LED memorial lantern for a Yorkie who has passed on.

Questions
How do you personalise the gifts?
Add the item to your basket and type your dog's name and breed at checkout. We laser cut or engrave it in our UK workshop with those details. There is no extra charge for personalisation and the name goes on exactly as you write it.
Which products come with a Yorkshire Terrier on them?
You can have the wall clock, lead holder, block keyring, Dog Rules for Visitors sign and Best Seat in the House sign with a Yorkie silhouette and your dog's name. The memorial plaque and lantern are engraved with the name and paw prints instead.
Does the silhouette show a clipped Yorkie or a long show coat?
The silhouette shows the recognisable Yorkie outline and the name is personalised exactly as you give it. If you have a preference between a short clipped look and the full coat, tell us at checkout and we will match it where we can.
